Electric Chargers UK, Business and public charging points with ozev funding

Objective: Enabling apartment residents to charge their electric vehicles

Electric Car Chargers UK (ECC UK) successfully designed and installed a communal EV charging solution for a residential development at Bath Road, Leicester

The Bath Lane development is a 2-acre site, located between All Saints Road and Jarvis Street which consists of multiple 5 to 8 storey residential buildings.

Working with Watkin Jones, we installed 3 x wall mounted 7kW charging sockets for communal use in their underground car park which will enable their residents to pay for their charge and reimburse the landlords supply.

ECC UK were able to install a solution that enabled the resident to pay for their usage, which would reimburse the Management Company for the cost of the landlord supply, and the equipment had a built-in load management capability to allow additional charging points to be added in the future, without the need of increasing the power supply.
