Electric Car Chargers UK Ltd were delighted to be appointed by Longhurst Group to conduct an EV charging feasibility study across all of their car home and housing association buildings.

Electric Car Chargers UK Ltd (ECC UK) are proud to have worked with Longhurst Group to review over 300 site locations with a view to installing and operating charging points for its residents.

Longhurst Group are one of the leading housing groups in the Midlands and East of England, providing more than 23,500 homes and a wide range of care and support services. Longhurst Group appointed ECC UK to investigate their care homes and housing association assets to evaluate how feasible it would be to install EV charging points.

The feasibility study included:

  • Use case feasibility and expected utilisation
  • 50 sites visits
  • Power assessments
  • System design and specification
  • Cost benefit analysis
  • Summary of findings

ECC UK completed the study ahead of time, and within budget, allowing Longhurst to analyse our findings and make budgeted plans for its implementation.
