ECCUK secured a contract set out by Norwich City Council to roll out EV charger infrastructure across numerous sites around the 13 wards after their needs for the fitting of workplace EV charging stations. The management had identified numerous sites where they wanted chargers for their staff and fleet EV charging.

The electrical power infrastructure across all sites were different and, in some cases, more power was required. ECCUK assisted Norwich City Council with applications to the power companies in these cases. Where there was sufficient power, no hurdles were identified to the EV charger roll out across those sites.
Solution Implementation
The process of fitting the fleet and customer electric vehicle chargers was carried out by the ECCUK installation team. Once the EV chargers were live and operational the chargers were set up on a back-end EV charger management portal which allowed the Norwich City Council management team to fully manage the usage of the fleet and customer EV chargers.
The final training and handover process was handled by the ECCUK office where the Norwich City Council management were shown how to use the EV chargers and the EV charger management portal.
