Objective: Install Co Cars and Public chargers for Bude & Stratton Council
Working in partnership with Co Cars who are the leading providers for shared mobility in the South West, Electric Car Chargers have installed two electric vehicle charging points for car sharing, along with two charging points dedicated for public use.
Bude & Stratton Council |
4 x Newmotion 22kW sockets installed for car sharing, public and staff use |
Activation of charging points via a UK network |
Power load is balanced when all sockets are in use |
24/7 contact support |

The two Co Cars charging points will be used for car sharing purposes, and the other two will be available for public charging. This will encourage the local community, visitors to Bude and Council staff to benefit from having a charging point in the local vicinity. The charging points will be operated by Econetiq who are a charge point operator based in Bristol, managing a network of charge points across the UK.
Car Cars and Co Bikes form part of a wider shared mobility scheme that operate in the South West which is helping to reduce congestion and pollution and designed to make towns and cities better places to live, work and thrive.
