ECC UK installs workplace EV charging for staff, pool cars and visitors, from a few sockets at a small office to multi site rollouts. We survey your supply, size the chargers, manage the load and look after them once they are in.
The Workplace Charging Scheme ends on 31 March 2027. If you want to use the grant before it closes, see our WCS deadline guide. Everything below works with or without it.
What we install
- Staff charging with 7kW and 22kW AC chargers, sized to how long people park.
- Visitor and customer charging with pay to charge tariffs, so you recover the electricity cost.
- Pool and company car charging with access control and per driver reporting.
- Rapid charging where vehicles need a quick top up during the day.
How a workplace project runs
- Free site survey of your supply, parking and cable routes.
- Written proposal with costs, timescales and payback.
- Network operator applications handled by us where the supply needs upgrading.
- Installation and commissioning planned around your working day.
- Aftercare through a bespoke maintenance plan, with remote monitoring and call outs.
What workplace EV charging costs
A small office with a couple of twin chargers typically comes in at £2,500 to £3,500, and four 22kW pedestals at around £10,000 to £16,000. Your incoming supply and the cable route decide most of the cost. Our installation cost guide has more detail.
Why it pays without a grant
Pay to charge tariffs recover the electricity cost and can pay back the hardware over time. Electric company cars and salary sacrifice schemes save tax for employer and employee, and staff increasingly expect somewhere to plug in. Ask your accountant which capital allowances apply, and try our payback calculator for a quick estimate.
Offices, retail and car parks
We install for offices and business parks, retail and leisure car parks, and multi storey and surface car parks. On shared sites we can split billing between tenants and set separate tariffs for staff and the public.
