Commercial EV Charger Installation - Newmarket Hospital – Multi-Location Public Sector EV Charging Project

The brief was clear: install scalable, revenue-capable commercial EV charging points across four separate locations within a live public sector estate, incorporating integrated pay-to-charge functionality and centralised back-end management.

Alto Works Road

ECCUK were appointed to deliver a full commercial EV charging solution at Alto Works Road, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire, following an internal Ask the Team survey that highlighted the growing need for workplace EV charging facilities. With increasing numbers of electric and hybrid vehicles on-site, the client required a future-proof, reliable charging infrastructure that could be installed with minimal disruption to an extremely busy car park.

Saint Francis of Assisi School

Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic College is a mixed Roman Catholic secondary school in Walsall, England. It was previously known as St Francis of Assisi RC School, until it was renamed St Francis of Assisi Catholic Technology College in September 2003 after gaining specialist status as a Technology College. The school has approximately 1,100 pupils on roll of which around 110 attend the sixth form

Newmarket Hospital

ECCUK were appointed to deliver a commercial EV charging installation at Newmarket Hospital, part of the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. The project supports the Trust’s commitment to sustainability, carbon reduction, and the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across NHS healthcare sites.

Unusual Rigging

Established in 1983, Unusual Rigging provides rigging and stage engineering solutions, working across Europe, principally in the entertainment, special event, exhibition and presentation industries. Their Northampton facility covers 4.75 acres and houses their new offices, warehouse and manufacturing. With over 60+ employees their specialist teams boast a wide range of disciplines.

Pladis McVities

Pladis McVities have been baking wonderful biscuits and cakes since 1839. With over 1600 employees across numerous sites the company were looking for a company to assist them with the roll out of a centrally managed EV charge infrastructure across all their UK sites.

Norwich City Council

Norwich City Council is the local authority for Norwich, a non-metropolitan district with city status in Norfolk, England. It consists of 13 wards, each with three councillors. It forms the lower tier of local government in Norwich, responsible for local services such as housing, planning, leisure and tourism The council leadership are committed to sustainability and identified the need to support electric vehicle adoption among its employees and constituents.

Castle Howard Hotel

Castle Howard is a stately home in North Yorkshire, 15 miles north of York. It is a private residence and has been the home of the Carlisle branch of the Howard family for more than 300 years. The Castle offers numerous events throughout the year and has both cottages and a glamping site where you can stay. The management at Castle Howard identified the need for EV Charge Points for their visitors and staff.
